Located in the beautiful Parc des Buttes Chaumont, this newly blossomed café has quickly gained a following with bobo Parisians looking for a bit of respite from city life. It’s the perfect place for a café or an apero with friends en terrace. If you’re looking for more than a drink, you can order up plates of chorizo, Bellota or Serrano ham, along with Manchego and Salers cheese and other small tapas-style plates, simply served. Linger late enough and you can hang in the Parc after hours and enjoy the view long after the gates have closed.

Hi there! I keep blogging about the Buttes Chaumont, and your blogs are being linked up with mine through WordPress tags! Cool!!
When I first came to Paris the summer of 2008, I remember happening on the Rosa Bonheur while walking in the park and thinking, “That’s a cute little place!” I guess now everyone else does, too, lol. I should have tried it out back then when it was still quiet. Or, heck, now, too would be good.
I just learned a little more from Wikipedia about the name of the place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_Bonheur
What a great tribute to this artist is the restaurant!
I’ve enjoyed reading your blogs and hope you will post more! Take care –
Karin
Thanks for such a nice message Karin! You should definitely try it now because the crowds have died down and the park is beautiful, even on cold grey days like today. Let me know how you like it.
